Your character's abilities are divided into base five stats. Warfare, Charisma, Subterfuge, Command and Perception. How well they perform certain actions and in certain situations is based on these stats. For instance, a character with high Warfare will do better in personal combat whereas a character with high charisma will be a better politician. These points are distributed through your signup sheet. You have six points to distribute between stats, with a max of +3 in any one stat. Having zero in a stat does not mean your character is deficient in this field, merely that they are average.
Warfare - This skill pertains to your ability in combat, with sword and lance. Female characters can trade these points for Resilience. Charisma - This skill pertains to your ability to win others to your side, whether through innate charisma or strength of rhetoric. Subterfuge - This skill pertains to your ability to operate unseen, managing networks of spies and orchestrating clandestine operations. Command - governs actions pertaining to battlefield leadership, such as how effective you are as a strategist and tactician. Perception - This skill is your characters ability to understand a situation as it unfolds before them. You may request a perception check at any time.
Your signup should contain your character’s stats and other background information, the detail of this being at your own discretion.

My name is Eddard Stark, Lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North. I write these words as a record of the events that have led us to the brink of rebellion. It began with the mad king's paranoia. King Aerys II Targaryen saw enemies everywhere, and he grew increasingly erratic and cruel in his attempts to root out supposed traitors. My father, Lord Rickard Stark, was one of those accused of treason. He was summoned to King's Landing to answer for these charges, but when he arrived, he was arrested and charged with crimes he did not commit. My brother Brandon was also summoned, but when he rode to the capital to demand my father's release, he was also arrested and executed. These actions were unforgivable, and they left the North in turmoil. As the second son, I never expected to become Lord of Winterfell, but my duty to my family and my people demanded that I take up the mantle. I gathered our bannermen and prepared to defend our lands against any who would seek to take advantage of our weakness. But I soon learned that we were not alone in our anger and grief. My friend and brother-in-arms Robert Baratheon had also suffered at the hands of the Targaryens. His betrothed, Lyanna Stark, had been abducted by Prince Rhaegar Targaryen, sparking a personal vendetta that would soon become a full-blown rebellion. Robert and I joined forces, along with the Arryns of the Vale and the Tullys of the Riverlands, to overthrow the Targaryen dynasty and restore justice to the Seven Kingdoms. As I march south at the helm of my bannerman to Moat calin. I am filled with a sense of duty and determination. I will not rest until justice is done, and the Starks and all those who suffered at the hands of the Targaryens are avenged. The road ahead will be difficult, and we may face many hardships and setbacks, but I am confident that we will emerge victorious. May the old gods and the new guide us on this journey.

Aerys Targaryen the Second of His Name
King of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men Lord of the Seven Kingdoms Protector of the Realm Born 244 AC Few times has the old saying of the Targaryen dynasty ever been as true as it has been for Aerys the Mad: ”Madness and greatness are two sides of the same coin. Every time a new Targaryen is born, the gods toss the coin in the air and the world holds its breath to see how it will land.” The son King Jaehaerys II started off his youth with great potential. Handsome, charming, ambitious, lively, and a lover of culture and women. However, with time his more undesireable traits became more prominent – vain, prideful, short-tempered and a mercurial mood that was easily swayed by sycophants at court. His mood swings has only increased with age, adding to that jealousy, paranoia, and violent outbursts. His infidelity stopped abruptly after the deah of his newborn son, though his relation with his sister-wife Rhaella can only be described as abusive. The last five years of Aerys’ reign since the Defiance of Duskendale has seen the king spiral further down in his madness. Every minor defiance is evidence of conspiracy and treachery, to be punished with sadistic punishments. Wildfire is a particular love for the Targaryen patriarch, including burning his enemies alive. Aerys’ mood swings are worse than ever, switching in the blink of an eye, including spells of hysterical laughter, long silences, bouts of weeping, and sudden rages. Hoster TullyLord Paramount of the Trident Lord of Riverrun Born 240 AC Hoster Tully is the model image of a man of the ruling house of the Riverlands – tall and broad, strong, blue eyes, and brown hair and beard that has been seasoned with streaks of grey thanks to age. Those who came to know Hoster would note a few characteristics – his pride, his faith, his familial love, and his restlessness. Though age has somewhat tempered his wanderlust, the Lord of Riverrun is often away from home on travels. Love of family is strong, almost remarkably so. Since the death of his wife Minisa, Lord Hoster has refused to remarry or take a mistress. Instead his focus is on his three surviving children, especially his eldest daughter Catelyn. The same cannot be said for his decades-long feud with his brother, Brynden Blackfish. His wish to secure advantageous marriages for his children has been at the center of Westerosi politics. Catelyn was betrothed to Brandon Stark, then to Eddard Stark after the elder Stark’s murder at the hands of Mad King Aerys. Hoster’s second daughter, Lysa, has an equally tragic story – from her abortive betrothal to Jaime Lannister, to her love of lowborn Petyr Baelish and subsequent unplanned (and aborted) pregnancy. Robert Baratheon’s Rebellion came out of nowhere for Hoster Tully, initially hesitant to join any side. However, marriage is a powerful tool and the hasty betrothal between Catelyn and Ned Stark sealed the Riverlands’ allegiance to the rebels. Jon Arryn Lord Paramount of the Vale Lord of the Eyrie Defender of the Vale Warden of the East
Jon Arryn is the successor to his father, the late Jasper of the Vale. He is the eldest of three children and the only one to survive to the time of Robert's Rebellion. His sister, Alys, died not long after the birth of her ninth child, by Ser Elys Waynwood. While his brother, Ronnel Arryn, died of a bad belly just around the time of his son, Elbert's birth. House Arryn has been plagued with the misfortune of untimely deaths as a number of Alys' children have perished and even Ronnel's son, Jon's nephew, was executed by the Mad King. Elbert died alongside Brandon Stark and Lord Rickard of the North.
In the years before, Jon had made strong alliances with Lord Rickard Stark and Lord Steffon Baratheon during the War of the Ninepenny Kings. As a result, the sons of them, Eddard and Robert, became wards at the Eyrie. Their tutelage under Jon lasted for so long that not only did the pair become like brothers, but they also viewed Lord Arryn as a second father. Thus, when the Mad King demanded the heads of both scions of the Houses Stark and Baratheon, Lord Arryn refused and called up his banners.
And thus, the opening actions of Robert's Rebellion began.

Denys Arryn Keeper of the Gates of the Moon Knight of the Vale
Known as 'the Darling of the Vale', Denys came from a poorer branch of the Arryn family. He was fortunate enough though to marry the eldest daughter of Alys Arryn, Alyssa, who was one of the nieces of Lord Jon. After the death of both Ronnel and Elbert, Denys became the designated heir of the Vale. He was further raised by being named "Keeper of the Gates of the Moon" after the death of Ronnel, the brother of Lord Jon. His marriage has been fortunate, gifting him a son, auspiciously named Ronnel, on the eve of Robert's Rebellion. He is noted at the court of Lord Arryn as a "renowned jouster, handsome and gallant and brimming with courtesy".

Ulrick Dayne Lord of Starfall
The newly named Ulrick Dayne, is the son of the recently deceased Beric who perished when his horse tumbled during a hunting accident. Not as well known, nor popular, as his knightly brother, the Sword of the Morning, Ulrick is known for his generous and social behavior. He is well-marked as having a lively court within Starfall, during the past year he has ruled. Charismatic is one key feature of Lord Dayne. Although not a commander, nor much of a knight, the banners were raised in defense of the realm when the ravens came bearing news of Lord Jon's defiance against the King. Second son of the late Lord Beric and brother to Lord Ulrick, Lady Ashara, and Lady Allyria, the Sword of the Morning is among the most capable and noted knights of the realm. Certainly best by only the Prince Rhaegar, who has become a close companion of his, Arthur stands tall and stalwart among the white cloaks and glimmering armor of the Kingsguard, led by Ser Gerold Hightower. The kidnapping of Lyanna Stark by Rhaegar Targaryen, the catalyst to Robert's Rebellion, was aided by Ser Arthur as well as Ser Oswell Whent, another Kingsguard member.

ROBERT BARATHEON Born 262 AC Status: betrothed, to Lyanna Stark. Children: Mya Stone (b. 279 AC) Traits:Warfare +3 Charisma +1 Command +2 Biography:Steffon Baratheon and his wife, Cassana, had three children, all of them black of hair and blue of eye, rowdy and healthy. One was strong, one was hard and brittle and the last, rump of the litter, was bright and soft: steel, iron and bronze. Kinsmen to the king himself, they lived and thrived in Storm’s End, the abode of the Durrandons, shielded from sword and storm by impregnable stone. But both parents would drown before their own castle, their carrack shipwrecked by godly rain, wind and fury. At his teens, after the birth of his youngest brother, Robert was offered as a ward to the most senior peer of the realm, Jon Arryn, who had no progeny on his own and, thus, took under his wing both his wards, Baratheon and Eddard ‘Ned’ Stark, like sons of his own loins. Between all three bonds of friendship and familiarity were grown, something that would become cemented by the prospective wedding of the young Lord of the Stormlands and Lyanna Stark –Ned’s sister. However, something went amiss in the grand tourney held in Harrenhall. Lord Whent, proud and haughty, wanted to host the greatest and most lavish tournament ever witnessed, and invited king and royal family, lords great and small, Baratheon included. Rhaegar Targaryen, prince of the realm, managed to unhorse his foes, one by one, and was proclaimed victor. He named Lyanna Queen of Beauty with a crown of pale and cold blue roses. And thus the die was cast and the seeds of dissent were sown. The prince would kidnap Robert’s bride and his father had Lord Rickard and Brandon Stark executed wantonly in King’s Landing. Afterwards, he demanded the heads of Eddard and Robert, something their warden would not have. Jon Arryn raised banners, his wards following suit, and a war was started. The ambitious Hoster Tully of Riverrun married both his daughters to the aged Jon Arryn and the young Eddard, and joined the Rebellion. Baratheon would have his Northern bride, by force if needed, and rode to war, donning the polished armour, the antlered helmet and the golden tabard. Cousin or not, he would cave in Rhaegar’s chest and ruin his face with a gauntleted fist, for being as daring as to kidnap the Stag’s prerogative. The dragon had three heads, or could have many more, but Robert did not care, all would pay in blood. A man of twenty, Robert is a sight to behold, tall and muscular -like fashioned after every maiden’s dreams-, and he delights in arms and swordsong above anything else. He is fearsome, strong, fierce and stubborn to the point of idiocy, and albeit he is not smart, Robert is reckless and cunning, and, above all, charismatic and even charming to those he deems loyal, brave and strong. With great appetites, Robert likes women a plenty, to warm his bed night and day, and takes delight in meals and wine with little regard to temperance or self-control. He claims to love Lyanna Stark, but he is only drawn to her beauty, not her spirit, something that could bode ill fortune to their eventual marriage.

Rhaegar Targaryen Prince of Dragonstone
Born 259 AC Married to Elia Martell, with two trueborn children; Aegon and Rhaenys. Bigamously married to Lyanna Stark. Stands over six feet tall, with haunting violet eyes, silver-golden hair, and porcelain skin. Traits:+2 Warfare +2 Charisma +1 Command +1 Perception Bio:Born under the shadow of fire and death, Rhaegar has been haunted by dreams of Summerhall since first waking in a world he was not meant to see. Night terrors of doom and dragons robbed him of a child’s innocence, and drove him to seek answers in ancient learning and half-remembered prophecy, the same obsessions that have plagued others of the Blood of the Dragon. His own grandsire’s dabbling with prophecy birthed an unhappy union between brother and sister, in the vain hope that from their line a Promised Prince might be born. Few living understand this great destiny. It was a burden that Rhaegar shouldered reluctantly, for a time. Visions of cold and death being scourged by a sword of flame told him to set aside the harp to become a warrior, for that was to be his duty. But he had no love of the sword, and returned often to Summerhall to pluck his harp and sing a lament for the doom they would share. It was not until maturity that he realised that vanity had stricken him as it had stricken his grandsires, and that this great sense of destiny was not his own. A three headed dragon visited his dreams, born from Fire and Blood. His own blood. These visions he shared with none, not even his wife, who after two years of marriage could not survive the birth of a third child. Of all his friends, Dayne alone understood the pain of duty. Though Rhaegar loved Elia well, duty would come before all else. Time was growing short; his father’s madness would bring the ruin of all. The phantom of another woman’s love had troubled his sleeping thoughts for many years. A woman who was not the one he had married. He dreamed of laughing trees and winter roses as often as dragons. At Harrenhal he found her, and after sweeping all before him, crowned her the Queen of Love and Beauty, and they began their fated affair. Elia was shamed by the dishonour, and Rhaegar grieved for the harm he had done her. Grieved, but pressed on nonetheless. Love is ever the death of duty. Duty demanded he father a child by Lyanna Stark. Duty demanded that he unseat his father and save the realm from madness. Duty demanded that he return to his wife and be a parent to his children. Love instead drove Rhaegar and Lyanna to elope in the Red Mountains of Dorne, with Ser Arthur Dayne as witness to their profane ceremony. To his own great shame and sorrow, the consequences of this choice have been more dire than he could have ever imagined.
Lyanna Stark Princess of Dragonstone
Born 266 AC Wed bigamously to Rhaegar Targaryen. Pregnant. Traits:
+2 Warfare +2 Charisma +1 Subterfuge +1 Perception Stands at five foot eight, slim but athletic, described in her youth as 'boyish'. Dark haired, long faced and grey eyed. Bio:The only daughter of Lord Rickard Stark had 'the Wolf blood' as the Starks called it, a wildness that ran hot in the blood that made her proud and wilful. She grew tall quick as girls often do, and soon wed herself to the saddle and the bow. She spent her days chasing deer in the Wolfswood and racing in the Rills, laughing as the wind whipped her face and messed her hair. Not even Brandon could catch her at full pace. Lord Rickard Stark despaired more than once on summer nights when she lost her temper and sped off into the woods, quick as a hare. In the morn she would always return, abashed, leaves and twigs stuck in matted hair from where she had made a go of sleeping rough for the night. Brandon had insisted that if she was to run off alone then she should at least learn how to use a sword; Father had refused, though knew nothing of them spending their small hours in the crypts of Winterfell clashing blunted steel. Little Benjen kept watch for them, more so out of fear of her wrath than any wish to keep her secret. As Ben grew bigger and stronger he began sparring with her himself, with Brandon coming down less and less as he grew to manhood. One day he would sit in Winterfell's seat, and had no time to spend playing child's games any longer. He lived for the thrill of love and battle, and never shied from taking what he wanted. Lord Rickard began to look towards his southron ambitions; advantageous marriages for his sons and daughter that would strengthen the Lords of the Realm against the King. And so Lyanna's childhood abruptly ended. She blossomed into a woman, growing into her high cheekbones and pointed chin. Men began pursuing her out of passion rather than advantage. Eddard, sweet and solemn, returned from his wardship in the Eyrie with a suit from his friend Lord Robert Baratheon. A man that had already sired children on the other side of the marriage bed, who went to bed reeking of wine and piss to rise in the morning to fight and drink and whore all over again. She protested, but Father blessed the match. Even Brandon had been cowed, for he had been promised to wed the Lady Catelyn Tully and in turn spoke in favour for Robert’s suit. Soon the match was agreed, the betrothal announced, and she went off in a rage to ride as she had in her youth. But anger cooled as it always did, and she would go south with her brothers to Old Lord Whent's great tourney at Harrenhal. There she met and saved Howland Reed from a gang of bullying squires, and took him to the feast where she would first lay eyes upon Rhaegar Targaryen. She laughed at her brothers and wept at his songs. They all danced, even shy Ned, who became smitten with Ashara Dayne. Few know what happened thereafter. All know that a mystery knight entered the lists and unhorsed three men before vanishing, and that the Prince of Dragonstone won his victory. Queen of Love and Beauty he named her, and all the smiles died. It had been he who had unmasked her, finding her in the woods with armour and lance. Ever chivalrous, he had helped her unfasten her loose fitting breast-plate and mismatched greaves, and gave her his cloak to shield from the cold. She knew him to be married, but did not care. The next year they rode away together, a flight of fancy that she knew to be madness, but did not care. Benjen kept her secret, as he had in the crypts. A secret that Brandon and Lord Rickard would die for.

House Lefford of the Golden Tooth {Lord Harmund Lefford} Age: 61 (b.221 AC) Traits: Perception +3, Charisma +3 BioLord Harmund Lefford was ever an educated man, spending more time than the bare minimum in lessons with the family maester and in the castle libraries. Like all young men he squired and was in due time knighted, and thus is no stranger to the role and duties of a knight, but as the heir to the Lordship he always preferred prioritising his duty to know over his duty to knighthood. This has, over the years, created a man of great intellect and knowledge, a man who some have said may have sought the Maester's chain had he been a spare rather than an heir. Harmund has three children, with Raymar born in 244 AC, Godric following in a difficult birth in 247 AC, and Melara arriving by surprise, after the couple thought Kyra's childbearing lost, in 261 AC. Lord Harmund Lefford is an aged man, having seen much. At age 12 in 233 AC he was squire to Lord Robert Reyne during the Peake Uprising, witnessing the Lord's death in battle, as well as that of the Heir to the Rock, Ser Tywald Lannister, and the Great Council of 233 AC. At age 16 in 237 AC he fought in the Westerlands contingent at the Battle of Wendwater Bridge, witnessing the defeat of Daemon Blackfyre, the death of the Heir to the Rock, Ser Tion Lannister, and being knighted in the battle's aftermath. At age 19 in 240 AC, he would stay at Casterly Rock for a few years, where his keen mind would give him a position of some respect in Lord Gerold Lannister's court. It was there, in 242 AC, that he met and then wed his wife, the Lady Kyra Westerling, taking her home to the Golden Tooth in 243 AC to integrate her into the court life of his home fief. At age 23 in 244 AC he attended the funeral of Lord Gerold Lannister and the ascension of Lord Tytos Lannister to the Lordship of the Rock. Tytos and Harmund had been friends during Harmund's stay at the Rock, and Harmund initially believed Tytos would be a just and kind ruler, for it was his nature to be so. Harmund would watch with sorrow as that kindness grew to weakness and, like all the Rock's bannermen, he would spend the years 255 to 260 AC looking to the Golden Tooth's own defences, as Tytos became an absentee Lord, consumed by grief after losing his wife, and raising his own two sons, Raymar and Godric, who would come in 244 AC and 247 AC. At age 39, in 260 AC, he would once again witness the defeat of the Blackfyre menace, serving in the War of Ninepenny Kings in the Westerlands contingent under Ser Jason Lannister, whose death he would witness. Harmund knew the sons of Lord Gerold well, and witnessing the deaths of three of them pained him greatly. He would remark, only to his own family, what a shame it was that Tytos was the one to survive the curse on Gerold's issue. At age 40, in 261 AC, he would be but a bystander in the breaking of Houses Reyne and Tarbeck, for the Golden Tooth's forces were not summoned by Tywin. Harmund sent a raven to Lord Roger Reyne, counseling loyalty, for he had once been childhood friends with him while Harmund squired for his father, the late Lord Robert Reyne. The raven would go unanswered, whether Roger ignored it, or whether either Harmund's or Roger's ravens failed to arrive, he would never find out. Much like the deaths of the late Lord Gerold Lannister's sons, the death of Lord Robert was also hard on Harmund, having known the man well in his youth. He was consoled somewhat in this year by the surprise pregnancy of his lady wife, welcoming their third child and first daughter Melara. Finally, at age 60, in 281 AC, he and his family would be present at the Tourney at Harrenhal, and would bear witness to the events that started the uprising of the Stormlands, Vale, Riverlands, and North. Aux Characters- Ser Godric Lefford, 2nd son, age 35 (b. 247 AC). A black sheep amongst nobility, Godric is a kind man, kinder than most towards the smallfolk. His formative years being during the dark days of House Lannister's lowest point, when banditry and aristocratic rivalry were at their height, turned him to kindness. Where his older brother saw it as a need for order enforced by sword and lance, Godric saw it as a need for more kindness. Some have suggested he ought to have taken a Septon's robe, as his kind heart stems from a deep faith. Like his brother, and all noble boys, he squired and was knighted in due time, and much prizes those elements of the chivalric code that espouse fairness, honour, and the defence of the weak. - Lady Melara Lefford, 3rd child, age 21 (b. 261 AC) {Ser Raymar Lefford} Age: 38 (b.244 AC) Traits: Command +3, Charisma +3 Raymar is rather a different man to his father, after him his brother Godric takes after. Raymar was a poster-boy of knighthood: skilled at the sword and the lance, diligent in his martial training, and confident in his command of troops. He is a stern man, not one for easy joviality or idle chatter, his formative childhood years being during the worst of the power vacuum in the Westerlands, where banditry and bloody aristocratic rivalry reached their height while Tytos Lannister wept for his late wife. He plays an active role in governing his father's fiefdom, primarily as a commander of troops and an enforcer of Lefford authority. At age 16 in 260 AC he was old enough to march to war in the Stepstones alongside his father, giving battle against the Blackfyre menace and witnessing their defeat by the Iron Throne. He would be knighted after the campaign for his faithful service with the Westerosi heavy cavalry, squiring for a brother of the Lord of Ashemark. He wed his childhood friend, the Lady Sanah Foote, eldest daughter of the Lefford vassal House Foote. With her he would have only one son, Donnel Lefford, in 264 AC. Despite whispers that he should set her aside and take a new wife to secure the line, he has refused to do so. {Ser Donnel Lefford} Age: 18 (b.264 AC) Traits: Warfare +2, Perception +2, Subterfuge +2 Ser Donnel Lefford squired for House Westerling, the house of his grandmother. There he heard stories of the Reyne-Tarbeck Rebellion, as House Westerling formed part of Tywin's army for the Siege of Castamere. Donnel grew to admire the ruthlessness of Tywin's actions and the extent to which it restored the prestige of House Lannister: the lesson young Donnel took was that people respected strength and authority only existed if it was enforced. This manifested itself into his personality, with Donnel himself growing into a ruthless man, helped along by his skill at arms making him amongst the best of the young squires under the tutelage of House Westerling's many family members and sworn knights. He also inherited some of his grandfather's brains, however, and combined this with his ruthless mindset into becoming a man at ease with dirty work, daggers in the dark, and what he sees as what needs to be done to keep the correct order of things, to ensure people know their place. Auxes- Myles Bettley. A childhood friend of age with Donnel, Myles is a cruel man and the third son of one of the Lefford vassal houses. As a child he would break the wings of birds before throwing them to cats, push children out of trees, and so on. As he grew into a teenager he was sent home from squiring for fighting with his fellows and harassing the girl servants, being accused of raping one. He has likely only escaped the noose because Donnel himself beat the man close to death after the rape, putting him on a tight leash and cementing him as Donnel's creature. Had this not happened it is likely his downward spiral would've ended in a hanging before long.

HOUSE FREY OF THE TWINS
LORD WALDER FREY
Born 208 AC Six times a widower. Father to twenty nine children. Stats:3 Subterfuge 3 Perception Old Lord Walder Frey of the Crossing is a man whose famous appetites are exceeded only by the sheer size of his brood. Father to almost thirty and grandfather to at least thrice that number, many joke that the Lord of the Crossing could field a weasel-faced army form his loins alone. None would ever say such in Lord Frey's hearing, for even in his advanced age it remains sharp, quick to catch a quip or slight at his honour. He is crude, lecherous, cantankerous and discourteous, and holds a long memory. Despite his age, he shows no signs of slowing down yet, having outlived his sixth wife, the late Bethany Rosby. Already he has sent out his sons in search of a seventh. Though Lord Hoster has called his banners, Frey has displayed his usual hesitance to act decisively, and as of yet has committed none of his men. SER STEVRON FREY
Born 234 AC Widower. Father to three sons and a daughter. One of the sons, Aegon 'Jinglebells' is a lackwit. The eldest, Ryman, has two adult children. Stats:
1 Warfare 2 Command 1 Charisma 2 Perception The heir of Lord Walder is now an older man in his own right, having almost reached fifty without ascending to the high seat of the Crossing. Stevron begins to suspect that he will never live to see the day, and that his Lord Father will outlive them all. Unlike his father, Stevron is an affable and well-mannered man. He is reasonably skilled at arms and apparently competent at leading men into battle. He has been groomed to rule the Crossing since the day he was born, and values the family above all else. SER ‘BLACK’ WALDER FREYBorn 265 AC
Unmarried Stats:
3 Warfare 2 Command 1 Subterfuge ‘Black’ Walder is the eldest grandson of Stevron Frey, auspiciously conceived on his father Ryman’s wedding night. A wiry man with a foul temper, his nickname derives not from his moods but from the colouring of his unusually dark hair. He has already earned a reputation as a womaniser. SER LYONEL FREYBorn 265 AC Unwed Stats:2 Charisma 3 Warfare 1 Command Ser Lyonel is the second son of Ser Emmon Frey and Lady Genna Lannister. Unlike his older brother Cleos, he favours his mother’s kin, being fair haired, green eyed, and rather handsome. This has caused a few to suggest he is not truly Emmon’s son, though this is not spoken in his hearing, and Emmon has never had the courage to ask his wife himself. Lyonel squired for Lord Westerling and now serves as a sworn sword for his uncle, Lord Tywin.

Randyll Tarly
Lord of Horn Hill Born 255 AC House Tarly is one of Highgarden's oldest and strongest bannermen, with a proud martial tradition earned through many battles in the Dornish Marches. Randyll Tarly has so far done well to live up to the expectations of his family name. Lean and balding even in his young years, instead growing a short beard. The Lord of Horn Hill is an iron willed man, shrewd and capable. Since his youth he has commanded troops along the marches, demanding complete obedience and encouraging bravery and martial prowess. Randyll wields the ancestral Valyrian steel greatsword Heartsbane in battle. Not one with much interest in politics outside the Reach, Randyll follows Highgarden's command as rebels and royalists clash across the Seven Kingdoms. MACE TYRELL Lord of Highgarden
Born 256 AC Married to Lady Alerie Hightower Father of Willas Tyrell, Garlan Tyrell, Loras Tyrell, and Margaery Tyrell. Stats:3 Charisma 2 Warfare 1 Perception Mace Tyrell is a handsome and athletic man, the very emblem of southern chivalry; gallant and charming, and a fine horseman with a decent tournament record. Above all, Mace wishes to be loved, and craves influence over others. However, he lacks the drive or intellect to do anything meaningful once he has achieved this, save for enjoying the benefits of his position. The Lady Olenna, his mother, still refers to him as Lord Oaf. It is said that though Mace rules Highgarden, it is the Lady Olenna that rules Mace. Though he is no mighty warrior or deep thinker, he is a good father to his children, and a loving husband to his wife. He has fathered three children, and dotes upon them incessantly. Lady Alerie is currently pregnant with a fourth.

OBERYN MARTELL The Red Viper of Dorne Born 257 AC Status: Unmarried, and refusing to do as much. Children: A score. Among them the Sand Snakes: Obara Sand, Nymeria Sand, Tyene Sand, Sarella Sand. Traits:
3 Warfare. 2 Subterfuge. 1 Charisma. Biography:Oberyn Martell is a man with a reputation. The second son of the Princess of Dorne he had a monstrous youth, being debauched, self-assured and incredibly cunning; his mother, the Princess of Dorne could do little to control or restain his impulses, and he could not be tamed. While still merely a teen he was found abed with Lord Yronwood’s -for whom he was page and squire- own paramour, herself twice his age, and, later on, he managed to have the old lord killed by a festering wound. Thus the Red Viper of Dorne was born, and few men are none the wiser to rouse his anger. Exiled on Oldtown after the affair at Yronwood’s castle, he enrolled into the Citadel and managed six links of a maester’s chain with ease before growing bored, then departed for Lys and the Disputed Lands. In the Valyrian isle he was taught how to love and make love to men and women alike. In the war-torn lands he served as a mercenary, learning how to kill, by sword, lance, axe and poison. He founded his own sellsword company, the Sun’s Sons, after leaving the Second Son’s in Myr when he was merely three and twenty years of age, after a gambling dispute with its captain. Two years passed by before Doran sent his own strongman, Areo Hotah, to Pentos, to fetch his brother and bring him back: for murmurs came from Dorne’s fringes, and spoke of a bride abducted and a princess living in a red tower, of joy and sorrow. Martell grew to be lean and lithe, very athletic, graceful and quick as a water snake. With the skin tanned by the sun of two continents and two seas, he has lustrous black hair, a lined and saturnine face, even in his youth, and dangerous eyes, like those of a resting viper. He is, by all means, an extremely dangerous man, mercurial and unpredictable, and some say he is even half-mad. He fights with a long spear and light armour, for he likes freedom of movement, and there are few that can face him in battle or duel without meeting and untimely end.
Oberyn fathered children through all Dorne and beyond, in Lys, Volantis, Pentos and Myr. Of those, four chose father over mother and he took them with him. Martell himself actively raises them, but as to make women as independent and fierce as he always was. Oberyn’s eldest was fathered on a common whore in Oldtown, the second with a Volantene of the noblest blood, the third with a septa on the altar of the Mother and the fourth with a Summer islander, a bold captain and merchant that took the Viper as lover as they sailed through the Narrow Sea; their hips dancing as the waves rocked the ship. They are famously called the Sand Snakes, and they despite being children still, all share their father’s will, skills and daring spirit. Oberyn raises his bastard offspring by teaching them all arts, including those of spear and sword and poison, of charm and wit. Martell is a familiar man, and he would rather die than offend or inflict any pain on his close kin. Oddly for a man of his ambition and character, he is fiercely devoted to his older brother, Doran Martell, prince of Dorne and Lord of Sunspear, never having questioned succession or harbored any wish on the throne; he knows he would grow bored of ruling in less than a month. Both brothers have a synergistic relationship, and are a formidable pair of minds when working in unison; Doran is the soft grass hiding the red viper laying within with bared teeth. However, none is close to Oberyn himself than frail Elia of Dorne, wife to the Prince of the Realm, and the only who knows Oberyn's heart and mind like a twin. Divided by fate and marriage, Oberyn would kill and burn half the realm if anything were to happen to Elia and her children, for the Red Viper is not venemous to any that share his own blood, all the contrary.

Tywin Lannister Lord Paramount of the Westerlands Lord of Casterly Rock Shield of Lannisport Warden of the West Tywin is a tall, slender, broad-shouldered man in his fifties. His arms are thin but muscled. Tywin has kept his head shaved ever since his golden hair started going bald, but he grows out bushy golden side-whiskers. Tywin has pale green eyes flecked with gold. He is a calculating, intelligent, politically astute, ruthless, and controlling man. He dedicates his life and efforts towards maintaining the Lannisters' prestige, and ensuring House Lannister is respected, or at least feared. Tywin is a proven battle commander who leads from the rear, and he has a powerful presence combined with an intimidating gaze. He is harsh with betrayal. According to his sister Genna, Tywin mistrusts laughter because of how his father, Lord Tytos, had been laughed at; Grand Maester Pycelle was amazed that his late wife Joanna was able to make him laugh three different times. Though ruthless, Tywin Lannister is an able and shrewd ruler who brought great prosperity during his tenure as the King's Hand. He is especially talented at the raising of funds, leading to a persistent jest that he must "shit gold." Tywin is more respected than loved in the Westerlands.
