HOUSE WAYNWOOD
The Waynwoods are an ancient and storied line that date back to the kings and chieftains that intermarried with the Andal warlords from the east. One of their number settled in Ironoaks as bannermen to the Arryn kings, and a Waynwood has ruled there ever since. Over the centuries they have grown in power and stature to number among the most powerful Arryn bannermen, commanding many knightly houses of their own with men to call upon in times of war. In recent years, they have intermingled with the Lords of the Vale directly; Ser Elys Waynwood wed the daughter of Lord Jasper Arryn. They followed Lord Jon, their kinsman by marriage, on his ill-fated rebellion against the Iron Throne. This led to his death, his sole heirs being the two surviving daughters of Ser Elys Waynwood and Alys Arryn. That one of their own now sits the throne of the Eyrie has only served to advance their influence and prestige in the Vale further, despite the loss of much of their house during the war against the King. House Waynwood:Lord Ronnel Waynwood (d.249) married Lady Rhea Royce, daughter of Jocelyn Stark and Benedict Royce (d.256) - Lord Eustace Waynwood (b.228, d.283) married Lady Philippa Corbray (d.276) - Lord Eustace Waynwood (b.253) married Lady Lyanna Waxley (d.282) - Ser Morton Waynwood (b.255, d283) - Lady Anya Waynwood (b267) - Ser Elys Waynwood (b.230, d.276) married Lady Alys Arryn - Amanda Waynwood (b.252) married Ser Denys Arryn - Osric Arryn (b.281) - Alyssa Arryn (b.283) - Jasper Waynwood (b.255, d.258) - Bethany Waynwood (b.257) married Lord Jon Elsham - Jocelyn Waynwood (b256, d.262) - Anna Waynwood (b257, d.266) - Septa Jeyne Waynwood (b.260) - Ellen Waynwood (b.262, missing 279 AC) - Septa Arya Waynwood (b.263) - Philip Stone (b279,d.279) - Philippa Waynwood (b.264) married Ser Humphrey Hardyng (b.250) - Harrold Hardyng (b.280) Ser Jon Waynwood (b.215, d.280) married Lady Barbrey Vance - Ser Roger Waynwood (b.252) - Carolei Waynwood (b.267) LORD EUSTACE WAYNWOOD Lord of Ironoaks
Traits:
+2 Warfare +2 Subterfuge +2 Charisma Eustace Waynwood is a proud and venal man, known for his womanising and his gambling debts. He is lean, handsome, and auburn haired. Women are known to comment that he has “well formed calves”. He came into his inheritance after the untimely death of his father and brother at the Blackwater. Captured by Lord Caswell, he charmed the man into letting him go without a ransom, and returned to the Vale to assume his rightful place as Lord of Ironoaks. It is an open secret around Ironoaks that he was caught abed with his cousin Arya, the great-niece of Lord Arryn himself. To avoid bringing their house more shame than necessary, his father passed the child off as the bastard of a sellsword; the man was hanged and his cousin sent off to the Silent Sisters. To save face, Eustace spent the next two years in Pentos. Upon his return, he was compelled to marry a Waxley woman; he regarded her as “fat and plain”, and their brief marriage was an unhappy one. Since her untimely death he has not remarried, though he is known to have multiple mistresses both common and noble born.

SER HENRY TEMPLETON'Hotspur' -Henry Templeton during the Robert's Rebellion, clad in full armor and wearing his personal quartered arms; stars for Templeton and candles for Waxley- Born 261 AC Status: Unmarried. Children: None acknowledged. Traits:Warfare 3 Command 2 Charisma 1 Biography:Lord Edmund Templeton married Alyssa Royce, youngest daughter of Jocelyn Stark and Benedict Royce, a good match, for Benedict, despite being a second son, was a lord on his own and his wife was of Winterfell. Templeton died of measles but two years later, leaving a single son, Robar Templeton. He came to his inheritance at young tender age and grew spoiled, such he had little regard for coin, land or manse: would have squandered it all if a bad belly hadn’t sent him to an early grave when he was seven and twenty years of age. His wife, Elinor, heiress of a younger branch of House Waxley, was left with a number of children. The eldest, Roger, died of smallpox when he was five, and the second, Henry, came to be the Knight of Ninestars, while also standing in line to inheriting a hoard of wealth from his own mother –thus, he quartered three lit candles, for Waxley of Candlekeep, with his own starry field. Henry was a brazen youth, hot-headed, brash and impetuous. Rebellious and arrogant, he was sent to the Waynwood keep to be fostered and squire for his once upon a time uncle-by-marriage, Eustace Waynwood –who happened to be his own cousin by Stark relation. However, this could have been not as beneficial for the lad as his mother intended, for the knight was not only a gambler but also a womaniser, to the despair of Lord Waynwood himself. Still, Henry managed not grow to be such a spendthrift and despised gambling. Instead, Templeton took a liking for excessive hunting and the pleasures of the flesh, being known to imitate his cousin and take paramours of low and high birth all the same. He is hale and hearty, attractive on his own fashion –despite slightly crooked nose and long equine face-, athletic, with long parted black hair and grey of eye. -Above: the knight of Ninestars, proud Ser Harry Hotspur, in courtly attire- Knighted at young age, the nobleman would go on to serve Jon Arryn during the short-lived Rebellion. During the Battle of Blackwater Rush, he twice was injured, albeit not too gravely, and was bedridden for two fortnights after being carried by loyal men-at-arms back to the Vale in a litter. His courageous disregard of personal safety during Robert Baratheon’s charge against the Princely host gained him to be dubbed Hotspur, both for his stubbornness, brazenness and apparent stupidity in refusing to yield or retreat. Once back to the Vale and with wounds healed, he swore fealty to his new liege, Denys Arryn, who also happened to be married to a grandchild of Jocelyn Stark herself, Lady Alyssa Waynwood. Basking in his warmongering fame, Hotspur is more than willing to have a hand in the ruling in the affairs of the Vale.

Roose Bolton
Lord of the Dreadfort and the head of House Bolton Roose has an unremarkable body, neither plump, thin, nor muscular. He has pasty skin and a pallid chest, which is soft and hairless. Roose has short, strong fingers. He has a plain face, beardless and ordinary, with his only noticeable feature being his strange eyes, paler than stone and darker than milk, like two white moons. The color is sometimes called "ghost grey". His eyes are paler than those of his son, Ramsay. Though mild-mannered, Roose is remorseless and implacable. He is considered to be cold and cunning. Roose's voice is small and soft; he rarely raises his voice, forcing those who listen to do so intently, falling silent. Roose's personal motto is "A peaceful land, a quiet people". Traits:
