Jon Connington Lord of Griffin's Roost and Hand of the King
Jon Connington was the Lord of Griffin's Roost, the head of House Connington, towards the end of the reign of King Aerys II Targaryen, and he served for a short time as Hand of the King to Aerys during Robert's Rebellion. Jon was one of the friends of Prince Rhaegar Targaryen, and served at the court of King's Landing during the years before he became Hand. Jon Connington was the only son of Armond Connington, Lord of Griffin's Roost, and his wife. Jon served as a squire in King's Landing, first alongside Prince Rhaegar Targaryen and later for the crown prince. Jon was the most headstrong of the lordlings around Rhaegar.

STANNIS BARATHEON
Born 264 AC Status: unmarried. Children: none. Traits:
3 Command. 2 Perception. 1 Warfare. Biography:
Being the second born is not easy. Particularly if your elder brother is the cherished heir good with sword, lance and axe, riding like born on the saddle and handsome as a young stag. Stannis was always second, in love and affection, in attention, in lands and titles, in love and beyond; whatever he did, Robert had done first, better and sooner. Never a gleeful child, always shadowed by an older sibling and outshined by a darling babe, he grew sour, bitter and introverted after his parents’ death and no longer he showed any mirth or joy. The lad was a man sooner than it was due, as he was solemn and mature well beyond his years. Endlessly teased and provoked by Robert, he turned into an extremely self-conscious man, who would sooner break than bend. As the family’s master says, Robert might be steel, Stannis is black iron –brittle, hard and cold-, and Renly is copper -bright but useless. He remained in Storm’s End while Robert went to the Eyrie, and he managed to gain in character and willpower, no longer chafed by his sibling’s broad shadow. Taught by Cressen, Doyal Noye and his great uncle Herbert –son of the Laughing Storm- he managed to become a man of stature, with a mind far sharper than Robert’s –albeit less daring and resolute- and a strong sense of self, reputation, honour, justice and righteousness. However, he believes only men might deliver Justice, for Gods are but fables the kids and bumbling adults need to sleep at peace, to keep the shadows at bay when night falls its curtain. Stannis believes in no god, foreign or otherwise, and despises men of the cloth; the castle has been bereft of a septon for quite a few years. He lost all faith when Steffon and Cassana died shipwrecked before his very eyes: no God would allow such misfortune. Dark of hair –albeit he does not have a thick mane like his siblings-, bright of eye, broad of shoulders and tall Stannis would be considered handsome if he had but a bit more of joy and surety. He does not dally with women, servants, nobleborn or else, for Stannis sees little glee in such affairs and does not trust himself either to overcome the maiden’s dream his brother seemingly is. Of all the Baratheons, he is both the weakest and the strongest, and if the war is to prove something is the mettle of this middle-born brother, the least loved but the most capable.

Oswell Whent- With his brother earmarked for lordship of their house, Oswell Whent jumped eagerly at the chance for a place amongst the Kingsguard when it was preferred. Dark of hair, of gaze, and of humor, his black-winged helmet stands out amongst the ornate white enamel of his brothers in the kingsguard, but his loyalty and skill with a blade are both beyond reproach, though quiet rumor through the realm holds that both are sworn more in service to the young prince of dragon stone than to the man who sits the iron throne Warfare +3 Charisma 0 Subterfuge +2 Command 0 Perception +1

Walter WhentLord of Harrenhal Known as 'Old Lord Whent', the fifty-eight year old nobleman is the current head of House Whent, the seventh family to hold the haunted keep of Harrenhal. By defeating the traitorous Lothsons, during the reign of Maekar I, it was Walter's ancestor, also named thus, who was rewarded the keep for his loyalty as they once served as knights to the fallen Lothsons. In recent history, Walter's sister, Minisa, married Hoster Tully and mothered Catelyn, Lysa, and Edmure before dying in childbirth some years before Robert's Rebellion. Walter would marry his cousin, Shella, who was fathered by a Whent relative. Together, they would have four sons, Lucas, Lyonel, Humfrey, and, Damon and a daughter, Sarra. The Great Tourney of 281 AC was done in honor his maiden daughter, Sarra, even though it led to the events of the present rebellion. It is said that Walter is as 'opened handed as he was rich'. Rickard KarstarkLord of Karhold Named after the late Rickard Stark, father of Brandon, Eddard, Lyanna, and Benjen, the Lord of Karhold is known as a gaunt and tall individual, with a thick beard and loose hair that fell past his shoulders. Much of it covers his narrow face. Reputed as a stern and vengeful man, he proved himself a fierce warrior during the recent rebellion, namely at the Battle of the Trident. Prior to marching south, Rickard had left behind a wife, Lyarra, a daughter of the Lord of Widow's Watch, with three sons, Harrion, Eddard, and Torrhen. Wyman Manderly Born 239 AC Status: Married, to Lady Arielle Cerwyn (b. 231 AC). Children: Wylis (b. 261 AC) and Wendel Manderly (b. 264 AC). Titles: Lord of White Harbor, Warden of the White Knife, Shield of the Faith, Defender of the Dispossessed, Lord Marshal of the Mander, Knight of the Order of the Green Hand. Traits:2 Charisma. 2 Subterfuge. 2 Perception. Biography:An immensely fat man already on his forties. Blonde of hair and blue of eye, he was robust but handsome when young, someone who loved to ride and laugh. He had some success on the lists, but his voracious appetite made him gain several stones of weight and soon he abandoned such pursuits. The Lord of White Harbor for several decades now, he is a sharp ruler, with an eye for profit, trade ventures and fair justice. He is way smarter than he looks or pretends to be. Manderly has a loving wife, Lady Arielle, a thin woman of frail health but good and amiable character, who was once married to Wyman’s older brother –who died of measles soon after he was wed- and thus is several years his senior. They both love each other tenderly and Wyman is very attentive to her every need or wish. Their two sons, Wylis and Wendel, are both robust, dangerously bordering obesity, hale and hearty, kind-hearted, good natured and honourable. While Wylis is quiet and formal his brother Wendel is loud and boisterous. The eldest is married to Leona Woolfied, a plump pink fleshy and pleasant woman, full of body and breasts, with smiling eyes and a big heart. They both love each other tenderly and have one child, Wynafrid, a healthy girl of just two years of age. All the Manderlys love food and wine with a zeal and you can hardly see them without something to gulp, sip or munch and more often than not their brocade doublets are food-stained. It is said late lord Waldon Manderly owed to his Umber blood a voracious appetite, but he never grew fat, only larger in size. His offspring inherited the proverbial appetite for food and drink, but not their father’s propensity to remain lithe and lean, and thus all gained weight until the expense in cloth and thread grew considerable in the Manderly household.

SER GREGOR CLEGANE 'The Mountain That Rides' Born 265 AC Status: Married, to Joanna Pickledon (b. 268 AC). Children: None known, none living. Traits:Biography:Duncan the Tall was a good man. He became young Aegon Targaryen’s warden and knight by mere chance, after a fateful tourney at Ashford. In the following years, the edge knight wandered around the realm with his royal squire, from Winterfell to Dorne. They lived many adventures, and, eventually, Egg became Aegon the Fifth of His Name, King of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men and Dunk his Lord Commander, Duncan the Tall. However, before he even donned the white cloak, the edge knight had his many trysts with women all over Westeros. One caused a significant scandal that was soon hushed over. A few of the other liaisons were fruitful, but all were of little consequence: twice over a maidservant was left with child, Fair Nan of Winterfell and Sarra of Casterly Rock. Sarra was married at the time to the kennelmaster of Lord Lannister, and she passed the son as his. Eventually, her husband, a drunken fool, saved his master from being gored by a lion and got a tower, a knighthood and vassals for his deed. The son, Trevor Clegane, became a squire and then a knight. Eventually, he married Celysse Stillwood -a daughter of a minor Western family- and had two sons and daughter. Both sons grew to be large, but the eldest, Gregor, became of gargantuan proportions while still a child, larger than his father and actual grandfather both. Trevor soon came to be afraid of his own son, for he had violent sadistic impulses, while being absolutely devoid of empathy. Soon, servants at the small keep started to go missing, maids being horribly raped and disfigured and animals torn to pieces. Sandor, Clegane’s younger son, was mutilated when Gregor pressed his face until the flesh and the fat melted away, leaving a charred visage hard to look at; all over a small wooden toy. Sarra Clegane, the lord’s young daughter, was said to wither away of consumption, but she perished due his own brother’s abusive behaviour; some even whispering she died while trying to get rid of her brother’s baby. Unable to control a son so large that he barely fit through the keep’s gate, Trevor tried to rein in his worst impulses, but Gregor gutted him like a pig during a hunt and then blamed it on a wild boar. He was knighted by prince Rhaegar Targaryen during Harrenhal’s Tourney, impressed by the man’s size, wild ferocity and skill with arms. Having inherited keep and name, he became a lonely, violent, extremely cruel and unpredictable lord. His brother Sandor left their family lands immediately, enrolling into Lord Tywin’s service to avoid falling into Gregor’s hands. Gregor is almost eight feet tall and over thirty stone of pure muscle. There is none taller, stronger or heavier than Clegane among all knights in Westeros. He wears a plain armour of thick steel, with mail and leather beneath, one so heavy that none would be able to walk least so fight in such a cumbersome harness but Gregor himself. He wields a six-foot-long sword with a single hand and a shield large and heavy like an oaken door. All in all, Clegane is a living horror, a nightmare and the cruellest man in Westeros. He, for a good reason, is called The Mountain, and his name would soon be feared in the Seven Kingdoms.
SANDOR CLEGANE 'The Hound' Born 270 AC Status: Unmarried. Children: None. Traits:+3 Warfare. +2 Command. +1 Perception. Biography:Gregor Clegane's younger son. Large and robust for his age, he is still a very young lad. He ran away from the family keep when his father met and untimely end. After his brother’s cruel and sadistic punishment half his face is burnt horror and left him afraid of fire forevermore. He is skilled with arms and trains like a driven or mad man, for he has sworn to kill his brother whenever he has the chance. Currently Sandor is merely one of the many sworn swords in Tywin Lannister’s employ. Clegane disdains knighthood and chivalry, considering these notions tall tales told to children and women, while actual knights rape, murder and steal like mere bandits when given the chance. Sandor has seen the true face of mankind's horror, and that turned him into a sullen, cynical and cold individual.

QUENTYN TYRELLSer Quentyn of the Flaming Rose
Born 255 AC, in Oldtown Widower One son, died of fever. Traits: +3 Warfare +2 Charisma +1 Subterfuge Ser Quentyn is a great-grandson of Lord Leo Tyrell, and therefore a distant cousin in the male line to the reigning lord of Highgarden. He has taken for his personal badge the Tyrell rose impaled upon the Red Heart of the Lord of Light. At a tender age Quentyn was wed to a daughter of Lord Costayne, one of Lord Hightower’s bannermen and the man whom he had squired for. They soon had a son, and he surely loved her well, for he knew no other women. They lived together in Oldtown, in the service of Lord Leyton. During the Rebellion, Quentyn rode to war and distinguished himself at Tumbleton, Stony Sept, and the Blackwater. He claims he personally slew Lord Arryn at the latter, and took Lord Belmore and Lord Bolton for prisoner; their ransoms would be enough to recoup the fortunes expended in the war tenfold, and he surely would return home a rich man. Quentyn’s hopes for wealth to recoup his fortunes were quashed when all the prisoners were pardoned and freed by Prince Rhaegar. Near insolvency, he returned home to find that his wife and child had died in his absence from sweating sickness. He became a broken man, considering himself abandoned by the Gods. Having already sold his wife’s dowry estates back to Lord Costayne, he considered forsaking honour and family to sell his sword in the Disputed Lands instead. Fate decided differently. The Red God came west, brought on swift sails from Volantis. Having witnessed the power of this R’hllor first had through His worldly messengers, he foreswore the seven and became a swift and zealous convert. Now pledged to fight the shadow and to deliver the word of R’hllor, Quentyn and a group of like-minded zealots have begun to preach the Lord of Light’s doctrine wherever they ride.

John PeakeLord of Starspike The eldest of three children, fathered by the recently deceased Lord Garmund, it came down to John to inherit the strong, yet broken, legacy of House Peake. Once, they flew as high as falcons and hawks, prestigious in name and great in wealth. Many came to them for favor and patronage, desiring to be squires in their court, and anxious to have a Peake as their bride. All it took was supporting the wrong side during the Blackfyre Rebellion and all was lost due to the actions of their ancestor, Lord Gormon. Not to mention the Peake Uprising during the reign of Maekar I. John now leads the family, supported by his brother, Theodore, and his sister, Bethany. It is known that the Peake brothers are an ambitious lot, which is typical of their family's history. Certainly, Garmund desired a way to regain the lost territories of their ancestors. A desire that he educated into his sons, hoping they'd achieve what he could not. And so John strikes out to rebuild the family's honor and legacy. Eldon EstermontLord of Greenstone An immensely large figure, with a beard only rivaled by his father, Eldon Estermont is the newly raised Lord of Greenstone, in light of the events at the Battle of the Trident. Uncle of the rebel Robert, Stannis, and the young Renly, Eldon became the successor to his father, in his late years, when Lord Edwyn took the black, following Robert Baratheon to the Wall. The Estermont family are among the staunchest of the Baratheon supporters, so it came as no surprise to see Eldon's father depart for the North, for he followed only Robert Baratheon. Thus left Greenstone to the care of remaining Estermonts: Eldon, the newly risen lord, his son, Aemon, and grandson Alyn. In addition, there is also Lomas, younger brother of Eldon, and his son, Andrew. Under the newly risen Lord of Storm's End, Stannis, that loyalty has not faltered. Eldon will see to it that the children of his sister endure in this new age and despite the stain of rebellion upon the Stormlands.
