Frustrated by his constant infidelities, Lepidus' Boiicus wife Cornelia begins seeking 'solace' in the company of men and women her own age. However, he is so frequently in the company of other women that he does not even notice.
Lepidus the Younger finds that his Galatian subordinates often talk in his presence in a language he does not understand. He begins to become paranoid that they are making jokes at his expense, and punishes them accordingly.

Lucius Ovidius Naso publishes an account of the campaign to subdue the Numidian rebels. The first part is written in Latin, with very elegant and simple prose. It details the day-to-day life of the legions as well as the skirmishes with the Numidians and the sack of Thevestae and it is quite laudatory of Metellus Pius. The second part, however, is an epic poem written in Greek. It narrates Naso's journey through the desert to find water for the legions and the many dangers he and his men encountered in the mission. That is intermingled with weird passages of divine apparitions and a twenty pages long description of his horse Ganymede.
OoC: +3 dignitas for what is worth lol

The account receives respectable coverage among the Roman educated classes, being a particular favourite of Ovidius' benefactor, Metellus Pius. The poem, however, is subjected to some light mockery, and a few rumours circulate that Naso is much too fond of his horse. "It must have been lonely out in the desert..." Becomes the common set up for a joke at Naso's expense.

Atellus' Aventine boyfriend has left him for another man while he was away in Greece. Apparently, Fabius Maximus is inconsolable at the news.
--
Regulus develops a reputation as a Philhellene after taking a detour to Rhodes on the way back from Asia, and has begun growing his beard out in the manner of the Greeks. His contemporaries begin to call him Barbatus.

Decianus finds himself taunted in the street for sponsoring the cults of women, with many asking if he would like to wear a dress and makeup.
--
Cinna begins to recover from his nightmares. Or at least, he finds the alcohol stops them from happening.

Lepidus Boiicus is publicly seen in a very dirty and seedy brothel in the Subura. Worse still, the itching he had a few years ago returns with a vengeance.
---
Lepidus the Younger finds that he is very, very bored in the city. He begins reading poetry in his spare time, and enjoys reciting verses for guests. Sometimes he performs well, other times the guests are silently wondering when in Hades he will shut up.

Decianus, dressed as a woman so as to observe the sacred rites of Bona Dea ( so they were legitimate he later states), is on the way to the temple
Cinna, coming back from a late night drinking binge, stumbles into the woman(man) and begins relations

Lucius valerius requests a roll for an episode when he wanders the cretan governors mansion drunk one night. Valerius trips and falls, not only spilling wine all over himself but breaking a chunk off of one of his favourite statues. The collision leaves an unsightly bruise on his forehead. Decianus, dressed as a woman so as to observe the sacred rites of Bona Dea ( so they were legitimate he later states), is on the way to the temple
Cinna, coming back from a late night drinking binge, stumbles into the woman(man) and begins relations
This checks out. Cinna begins an affair with an actor that dresses as a woman that could quite possibly be Decianus, as he coincidentally is rumoured to have snuck into the Bona Dea rites by the gossip-mongers.

I want a random eveeeeeent. One for Scipio, one for Crassus. Scipio develops a fondness for one of King Ptolemy's body slaves, a Greek lad named Cadmus. He takes him into his household, and the young man is never seen far from his master's side thereafter. Crassus discovers that his luxurious habits are routinely mocked by the urban plebs, who call him 'Venus on the Palatine'. Some of this is good natured, and some of it is definitely not.
