Lord Umber stood in attention and interjected as Blackwood made his offer. "May I suggest that young Hoster comes with me to the North. I will whip the lad into shape and men of the North do not come back on their oaths as you know Lord Tully." The greatjon said on a most serious tone, his imposing figure towering over Tully.

Word had come throughout the camp as Blackwood seemed to have surrendered to Lord Tully. Denys and Duncan seemed a little disappointed at the lack of action. Still, it was better than nothing. They had a purpose as sworn swords to House Tully as their ancestors were. With the war seemingly over, there would be chances for them to prove themselves. They'd likely need to find wives though first, wives that gave them connections.

Once the Blackfish returned to Blackwood's camp, Lord Tytos rode out to Edmure's camp, fully armored. Escorted by his personal guard, he appeared before the Lord Paramount of the Trident."Ser Brynden has delivered your terms, my lord, and I find them agreeable. I will return command of the army to you, renew my oaths and place my son Hoster under your care." Tytos took his banner and sword and placed them before Edmure Tully, kneeling and bowing in deference to his liege."By the old and new gods, I swear to uphold the laws of the Seven Kingdoms, to protect the innocent and defeat the wicked. I will serve my lord, Edmure Tully, until my dying day, as my descendants shall do in turn." "Rise, Lord Blackwood. Let this be a fresh start for our relationship."
Edmure presents his hand for Tytos to shake it. "Let's celebrate today, for all of us have plenty to do tomorrow. Our hard work will be the foundation of this new era for the Riverlands."
Lord Tully then gestures the servants to bring mead and food for all to enjoy.

It'd be shame for you to leave North without a souvenir."

Edmure said "I'll need someone to oversee the Twins' rebuild. Would you be interested Ser Duncan?"
He then turned his attention to Denys "And I'll also need a sharp sword by my side in the Capital, Ser Denys. Would you be willing to be the Captain of my Household Guard?"

Well, I will see what can be done.It seemed that Duncan was likely to become Knight of the Crossings, the Ser of the Twins. Rather rich area he had heard. Denys nods his head. Aye! I got no other purpose, so I will see about leading your Household Guard. However, there was something else to discuss that crossed Duncan's mind. Any women available in the Riverlands we can take for wives? If we plan to be men sworn to you, we will be looking for wives to continue House Strong.

He breathed a sigh of relief to himself, happy to not be branded a traitor and executed for his rash actions."Gladly, my lord. Only have I ever fought for the Riverlands, though I admit to not always fight for the righteous side. I pray to the old gods to prove myself worthy." He followed Edmure toward the feast, feeling the weight on his shoulders lift with every step.
"Though it will be left for another day, I humbly ask for your judgement in my current feud with Jonos Bracken concerning the lands... granted... to him... by the Lannisters. Whatever you decide, I will... bow to your paramountcy." The words were practically forced out between his gritted teeth. It hurt his soul to not curse Jonos Bracken to the high heavens.

The Greatjon sighed from above Edmure. "What good news then Lord Tully, for I will venture to the Capital. It's good to know the lad can be my squire and accompany you, two birds in one stroke." The greatjon insisted. He wouldn't take a no and what coincidence as the Greatjon would travel to the capital before traveling back to Last Hearth.

"I've been either imprisoned or warring for the last 4 years. Any knowledge I had of suitable bachelorettes is outdated, I am afraid."
He drew his sword and told Duncan to kneel "I name thee, Duncan Strong, Knight of the Crossings. Serve me well, and I'll see that your children inherit the title I grant you today."

"Don't worry, Lord Blackwood. Any deals made by either the Lannisters, the Freys or Baelish are forfeit, their authority being illegal. I never stopped being Lord of the Riverlands."
Edmure looked at the man's eyes "However, I am tired of this feud. If I hear any complaints from either you or Jonos Bracken regarding this or any other decisions I make about your many conflicts I'll make you marry your eldest son to Bracken's eldest daughter. But I really hope it won't come to that." Tully smiled, as if he had jested.

"No."
Tully was getting impatient "I've made enough concessions for today. Don't insist or you'll ruin the peace we worked so hard to achieve today, Lord Umber."

After the circumstance of Lord Blackwood's re-swearing had passed, Brynden Tully sought out his nephew, recalling that the young man had mentioned wanting to speak with him.

The Greatjon stood before Tully as he exhaled through his nostrils on this head. His breath warm to counter the cold in the tent. A stare towards the weak lord Tully was followed by it. Weak Tully may be but a Warden nonetheless. With his deep, intruding voice he said "Very well Lord Tully. Be sure not to raise him weak" ... like you. He thought. "I will travel to King's Landing. It has been a while since I've been there. " The Greatjon nodded his head in respect, "My lord."
On the way out the Greatjon offered blackwood a place at his Hearth would he ever need it.

Tytos turned to the Greatjon, chuckling.
"It seems you won't win this fight, Greatjon. Not to worry, I have other sons. If Hoster joins Lord Edmure in King's Landing, perhaps my fourth son Edmund could squire for you? He's a lad of 15, so he's the perfect age to serve a warrior like you."

The Greatjon smiled politely. "Very well Lord Blackwood, I will make a man of him and treat him like my own."
