The armies of the Riverlands situated themselves surrounding the inmense fortress of Harrenhal. A siege had not been started yet, but all the possible escape routes were blocked.
One lone horseman rode out of the ranks of the army. He wore the colors of House Vance of Atranta.
"In the name of Lord Edmure Tully, we demand that Petyr Baelish surrenders himself to our custody to face the consequences of his actions!"

None replies. The castle's gates are apparently unmanned and left open.

Duncan and Denys Strong, present with some of the other Riverlanders of the defunct Golden Company, look at the haunted and quiet walls of Harrenhal. So this was where their ancestors ruled. How would anyone consider this place a boon? Even the stone was still blackened, in some areas, from Belarion's great flames. Denys leans over to his cousin and whispers.
Guess we just walk in?
Seeing as Edmure's demands had gone without answer.

The Lord of Riverrun was visibly annoyed.
"Ser Denys, Ser Duncan, Ser Ronald, split and search every fucking crook and nanny of this bloody castle."
The bastard had most likely escaped, but perhaps there were clues of where he had run off to.

The Strongs find from a quick round of questioning that Lord Baelish fled towards the Vale. Likely he went to take refuge in the court of his one time ward, Sansa Stark or to Gulltown to find passage elsewhere.

Where did you say he went?!
Duncan bellows at a guard who had remained. The poor bastard was packing up what look like expensive trinkets. Denys had found him trying to flee down a corridor, but managed to catch up and grab him. Duncan shook the guard before slamming his fist against the man's bruised face.
ANSWER ME!
The guard raises his hands.
To the Vale! The Vale of Arryn! I swear!!
Duncan doesn't let go though and drags the guard away to see Edmure. Denys, on the other hand, began to inspect the trinkets and make them 'disappear.'
Outside, Ser Duncan pulled the bruised guard before Lord Tully. He points at the man.
This one here said Baelish fled to the Vale. That mean anything?

"That our hands are tied. We'll send a crow to whoever is in the Gates of the Moon and to Stannis and inform them of this." He ordered a nearby knight to fetch the Maester
Edmure assigned a small garrison to take over the castle and left Ser Ronald in charge. He then prepared to leave.
"We ride to find Blackwood now, Ser Strong."

A raven arrives to Harrenhal, to then be taken by rider to Lord Edmure.

A raven arrives to Harrenhal, to then be taken by rider to Lord Edmure. "Bloody hell." muttered Edmure and hoped Stannis wouldn't blame him for Baelish's death. He had little time to think about Littlefinger, though, as his army quickly came closer and closer to Raventree Hall. Orders were given to surround the castle and a lone rider wearing the colours of House Paege approached the portcullis "Lord Edmure Tully demands that you surrender Lord Blackwood to his custody" shouted the knight.

Tully is told that Blackwood isn't here.
"Bloody hell" he muttered again
"Then I command Brynden and Hoster to join this army and hunt for his father with us. The rest of the children will be escorted to Riverrun and they'll remain there until this situation is dealt with." He tells Ser Robert, who promptly rides again and informs the Blackwoods of Tully's demands.

Lord Edmure is told that the sons of Lord Blackwood intend to remain at Raventree Hall. He is told that the Blackwood army passed by not too long ago, on their way south to Stone Hedge. If Lord Tully has any issues with Lord Blackwood, the two should speak with each other directly.

Edmure wondered when would anyone follow an order from his. Frustrated but understanding that time was of the essence, he leaves 1400 men under Ser Robert Paege to guard Raventree and rides for Stone Hedge.

A few days of marching later, the army of the Riverland finally arrives at Stone Hedge. This is it, thought Edmure, relieved in some way. It was to end right here and right now. He had grown tired and frustrated with so much running around.
The scouts reported that Blackwood's men had camped outside the castle. He toyed with the idea of attacking without warning but dismissed the thought. Things had to be done the right way, else what would differentiate him from the men he was chasing?
The same methodology was applied. One of his friends and companions, this time Lord Lymond Goodbrook, was sent to parley with the Blackwood forces. The terms he brought were clear: the immediate surrender of Lord Blackwood and his companions for the crimes they had committed. The rest of the men would be allowed to put down their arms and return to their homes.

The messenger is sent back to Edmure with an invitation for supper with Lords Blackwood and Umber at the Blackwood camp, and to present him with gifts as befitting the Lord Paramount of the Trident. Lord Blackwood would be willing to discuss his surrender to Lord Edmure's authority during their meal.

Edmure dismisses the invitation. If Blackwood wanted to talk he'd have to come to him or propose a neutral ground.
Goodbrook is once again sent to deliver his answer to Blackwood.
