Who is even say that Targaryen would use the Kingswood?
Devan states, shaking his head slightly.
I bet that Pretender wants a good battle, on the open field, to show himself off as the true son of Rhaegar.
Lannister turns to Tyrell.
We should be worried, nonetheless, that the Roseroad could still be monitored by our enemy. It is the most direct route, thus the most obvious path. We may not know that their eyes watch and wait. We have been trying to figure out our strategy after all and the mercenaries, that follow the dragon, are of a various bunch. They could have spies, as we speak, along the Roseroad.

Mace felt his confidence sink as even Randyll Tarly opposed his clever solution. With advisors like these, who needed enemies? He scratched his beard nervously, trying to think of a proper rebuttal to the overwhelming opposition. When he could not, he cleared his throat.
"W-well, if the sage counsel suggests another course of action, it would be unwise for the Lord Hand to reject it. Princess Myrcella will be sent to Dorne for the time being, and Queen Margaery and her entourage shall accompany her. Lord Tarly's mind for military matters is one I have relied on greatly over the years and I find his plan to be sound. I shall marshal the men, and once they're ready to move out we will put the plan into action. Lord Tarly, Ser Devan, you have your orders, may the Warrior give you strength in the coming battle with the bastard sea dragon."

"And with you as well my lord. I look forward to seeing you again, once the pretender is driven out and the realm can find some measure of peace again."

With the meeting seemingly drawing to a close, Mace bid the attending lords and ladies good bye.
