King’s Landing is in ruins…
- The walls are badly damaged, with every gate destroyed or unusable save the River Gate. - Everywhere except Aegon's Hill and the area surrounding the River Gate in ruins or uninhabitable. - Baelor's Sept destroyed - The Dragonpit destroyed.

It had taken nigh on a year for the reconstruction process to begin, such was the magnitude of the task on hand. But royal crews eventually made their way into the city; soldiers and Golcloaks would begin the lengthy process of clearing out the debris of the shattered homes and buildings to make way for a new capital to be built on the ruins of the old. Much of what remained was ash, dust, and blackened stone, but what could be salvaged would not be put to waste. With the harbour mostly intact, stone would come from the Vale by way of Gulltown to commence with the first project: the widening of the harbour into a real port. Both sides of the Blackwater would be commandeered to officially create an inland harbour to replace the ramshackle wharf, one that was built from wood and stone to command the mouth of the Blackwater Rush. Sluice gates and docking bays were constructed up and down the river to more effectively allow the large volumes of traffic that the building effort would command, and the King would depart himself to oversee the effort of its construction. Once sufficient for the task at hand, the next step would be to rebuild the Red Keep...
