Moons turn again. Summer comes, and the war is over. The Realm holds its breath.
Yearly issues 284 AC - A flock of Red Priests arrive in Westeros, bringing mysteries from the East and tales of a foreign God. The Lord of Light grants great power to the Faithful, and these priests have begun spreading his word in King’s Landing, Dragonstone, Gulltown and White Harbour.
- Rumour comes from the Iron Isles that Lord Quellon Greyjoy has died. He is succeeded by his son, Balon, without incident.
- Storms break out in the Narrow Sea, disrupting the flow of trade and making sailing extremely dangerous. Food prices rise in the city as a result.
OOC NOTES: With peace and summer coming hand in hand, lost manpower will begin to regenerate at a rate of 5000 men per year.

The year turns, King’s Landing falls. A new King is crowned.
Yearly Issues: - Refugees from the capital swarm into the Crownlands and Riverlands, despite the best efforts of the Crown to keep them in check. They bring with them banditry and disease. Rumours of sickness comes from Duskendale. A number of ‘Red Monks’ have begun to surface, preaching that the destruction of the capital was Divine Justice.
- The Faith begin preparations to appoint a new High Septon; a number of factions form in Oldtown, generally split between a more moderate ‘status quo’ Faith and a more hardline stance against the Crown and the Red Faith.
- Ironborn Longships have been spotted sailing up and down the western coasts and as far east as the Broken Arm.
- In the east, word comes that a Dothraki Khal has united the warring clans and pushes westward with a force not seen for four hundred years.
Regional:
North: Word is brought to Lord Stark of foreign looking ships sailing off the coast of Bear Island. The Clans also bring word of Wildling attacks growing more frequent and organised; a warband of twenty carrying iron and wearing ring-mail was caught camping in the Gift.

286 - The Faith finally gather to elect a new High Septon. Refugees have flooded into Oldtown, and the city watch is hard pressed to keep the peace. - In King’s Landing, a number of the Red Faithful construct a small temple within the city walls. Brawls regularly break out, and a knight is hanged for swearing vows to the Red God.
