Eddard Stark's face remained impassive as Robert Baratheon spoke with fiery determination. He understood the depth of Robert's anger and desire for justice, fueled by his love for Lyanna. The weight of his words hung in the air, and Eddard knew the significance of what Robert was proposing.
"Robert, your passion for vengeance is strong," Eddard replied, his voice calm yet firm. "But let us not forget our ultimate goal—to restore peace and stability to the realm. Ending the Targaryen dynasty is a monumental task, one that requires careful planning and strategic execution."
He paused, his gaze steady on Robert. "We must not let our emotions cloud our judgment. While the crimes of the Mad King are undeniable, we must ensure that we do not become what we seek to overthrow—tyrants driven solely by revenge."
Eddard's voice softened, a touch of concern seeping into his words. "Lyanna would not want this war to be waged solely for her sake. She would want us to fight for the greater good, to protect the innocent and ensure a better future for the Seven Kingdoms."
He took a step closer to Robert, his tone earnest. "But we shall reclaim her and enact Northern justice to these foreign invaders. As the blood of the first men run through my veins I will have my vengeance."

Hoster stared in surprise at the young Lord of Storm's End. The proclamation had come from nowhere, almost drowned out in Robert's fiery thirst for vengeance. For certain, they had risen in rebellion against an unjust king and the kidnapping of an innocent woman by his son and heir. Rebellions against the Targaryens were not uncommon in the history of the Seven Kingdoms, especially from within the dynasty. But this... to end a dynasty that had ruled a continent with fire and blood for nearly three hundred years... it was almost sacrilegious.
"I raised my banners in rebellion to stand against the injustice of a mad king. What you are proposing, Lord Robert, is a dangerous road to travel. The Targaryens have ruled since Aegon the Conqueror. Your own house began by the grace of the dragons. Through wars, famine, and rebellion, even the end of the dragons, House Targaryen has survived. Men would name you 'Usurper' if you sat the Iron Throne, and the realm descend into endless rebellion. Are you willing to face that?"

Usurper or not, we need to get rid of the Targaryens, once for all. Many times has this realm being plunged into civil war because their folly"Said Robert. "They have forfeited their throne by killing Brandon Stark and his noble father, and many more valiant knights who did not wrong, like Lord Arryn's own nephew, Elbert, someone I had known for years and called my friend even; like Lord Stark here did"
He added. "We have gone too far in this rebellion. Now, we face obliteration and to be purged like the Darklyns of Duskendale if we were to lose. If we win and we not replace Aerys and his ilk, we will eventually face reprisal, vengeance and tyranny. Thus, they need to be uprooted, like a cancerous growth, and by proximity of blood and might I shall mount the throne. If I have to be remembered as an Usurper, so be it, the Kingdoms need a firm hand, I'm willing to pay the price"

There was hardly any point in trying to reverse the course that Robert Baratheon was set upon. The Stag would challenge the Dragon and see himself crowned.
As that is the decision of Lord Baratheon, then I might suggest a course of action.
Together, there were four hosts: the Vale, the Riverlands, the Stormlands, and the North.
We should divide our forces into two, one shall head south of the God's Eye and another towards Darry and then south along the Kingsroad.
Jon Arryn believe this was best so that the Riverlands were not harmed, too much, by tens of thousands of hungry soldiers.
It will force the Iron Throne to pick and choose, just as we want them to. Not to mention if they choose one over the other, a chance for a pincer will appear.
Not to mention if their massive force went south, near the Westerlands, Lord Tywin may become irritated. Thus far, he had been neutral.

Eddard put his fist to the table. "What say you great Lords?!" irritated by the length of procedures. "My sister rots in Rhaegar, the soon to be dead prince, captivity. The North is marching out. Reports show the royals left Dary, I say we give chase!"

He then clenched his fist. "My brother is besieged in Storm's End. Once we deal with this army we should dispatch some banners there"
