Stannis discovers a nest of seven Gyrfalcons while out hunting. He takes a young bird to raise as his own.
Oberyn, bored with waiting, attends an elaborate orgy organised by a visiting Myrish dignitary.

Robert gets bored at Stony Sept and sleeps with the daughter of one of Lord Hoster's bannermen. The woman falls pregnant, causing a minor scandal, and the Lord is forced to marry the girl to one of his knights to prevent further embarassment.
Stannis finds time to practice cyvasse with Cressen during the siege. He becomes a decently skilled player.
Oberyn develops a fondness for dice while sharing a tent with the soldiers.

Stannis discovers his appetite for hunting out in the Riverlands. While out on one such trip he saves one of his bannermen from drowning in the God’s Eye.

Denys has the misfortune of falling from his horse on the ride back to the Vale. While he is unscathed, he is absolutely covered in cow dung. His favourite doublet is ruined, and it is seen as a poor omen.

Vikary develops saddle-sores while on campaign. It becomes extremely painful for him to sit on horseback for any length of time, and he takes to walking everywhere instead.

Denys Arryn John Peake Rickard Karstark Denys' wife becomes particularly enamoured with one of his household knights without his knowledge. She spends many long hours staring at him from her window, and he often makes any excuse to be near or around her. Fortunately for Arryn, the relationship for now remains innocent. John Peake becomes a local celebrity after his victory in the recent melee, and finds himself the target of affections for highborn women everywhere. They throw themselves at him, and every young boy wants to be his squire. Karstark fails to appropriately reward one of his bondsmen for a service. He develops a reputation as a lousy cheapskate amongst his men as a result. Templeton, Oberyn and Stannis Templeton finds a particularly handsome young man named Ser Piers in the service of Belmore and takes him into his own household. They become close companions thereafter, and often share a bed. Oberyn wins a fine jewelled dagger in a game of cards with Lord Uller. He immediately gifts it to a green-haired woman from Myr, whom he makes his most recent paramour. Stannis finds it soothing when Lysa reads to him before bed, and insists she does so every night. He makes her swear not to tell anyone.
