In the spirit of the old YATS games, here you may request a minor random event once per character per year. These events will give a minor bonus or minor consequence, nothing dramatically life-altering but with the potential to add some context to your characters.

Gimme random shit, Gandy. Piso, Titianus and Agricola. Piso observes omens predicting an early death at sea. He becomes terrified of the ocean as a result, not wanting to tread anywhere near the African shore. Titianus is gifted a valuable racehorse by a wealthy family looking to curry favour with Otho. Agricola finds that he is getting particularly fortunate in games of chance, so much that he is nicknamed ‘Fortuna’s son’ by the men. Same for Marcus Cocceius Nerva and Gaius Suetonius Paulinus Nerva receives promising but dangerous auguries that he will eventually follow in the footsteps of the Caesars. Privately, he becomes convinced it is his destiny to wear the purple. — Paulinus charms a beautiful local woman in Sirmium. The two begin a passionate love affair during his sojourn in the province.

Trajan begins to notice that age is slowing him down. He develops a drinking habit to help him sleep in the evenings.
Sabinus notices that people are watching him. Or at least, he thinks he does. Whatever the case, he begins to become paranoid that Otho’s agents are out to get him

Marcus Antonius Primus enjoys a great night of drinking and feasting in his command tent along the Danube river, however, the next day when he held a meeting he feels so bad that he vomits on an officer who stood next to him. As a result, Primus gets mocked over his display.
