Aediles: Lucius Menenius Lanatus
Plebeian Tribunes: /
Quaestors: Quintus Sertorius, Lucius Atilius Regulus

Asia: NPC
Africa: NPC
Macedonia: NPC
Cappadocia: NPC
Corsica Et Sardinia: NPC
Cilicia: NPC
Hispania Ulterior: Publius Scipio Nasica
Hispania Citerior: NPC
Gallia Cisalpina: Quintus Metellus Pius
Gallia Transalpina: Marcus Lepidus
Sicilia: Gaius Appuleius Decianus
Crete: Lucius Valerius Flaccus
Cyrene:
EVENTS:
- The great fire that destroyed much of the Palatine has created untold political and social havoc. At large, the populace and some of the aristocracy blame the degeneracy of the wealthy for allowing this to happen, and now much of the Palatine is empty or in ruins and must be rebuilt. Furthermore, the investigations of Pro-Consul Metellus have revealed that the fire was in fact arson initially directed around the home of Mugillanus.
- The King of Cyprus has sent an emissary to Roma asking for a loan of 150,000 denarii with which to reclaim his kingdom. He also requests the aid that the Romans promised him several years ago during the Mithridatic war.
- After the failure once again of the Assembly to pass Pro-Italic legislation, Italic veterans are beginning to band together and create trouble on the roads between Rome and Samnium. Numerous demonstrations of citizens arrive in the city every day to protest, taking advantage of the chaos to create havoc in the Forum. Ominously, the delegation of Italian aristocrats has moved back southwards, and rumours begin to trickle northwards that the veteran gangs are the beginnings of an army that will be used to demand civic rights by the point of the sword. Roman treasury income from Italia is reduced by 1000.
- The trial of Mugillanus must conclude, with the appeal yet to be decided by the Assembly.
PROVINCIAL ISSUES:
Hispania: As always, the Hispanic tribes are rebellious and fractious, and Scipio will have to perform the usual task of securing their loyalty to Rome once again after a few years of avaricious governance.
Cisalpine Gaul: With Lepidus' conquests on the far side of the Alps destabilising much of the existing Gallic balance of power, rumours from the north persist of Germanic tribes migrating or expanding towards Gaul in an attempt to take advantage of the chaos. The Helvetii in the mountains are preparing for war, though with who exactly is unclear.
Sicilia: Famine. Following a particularly harsh winter and increased demand from Rome, the Sicilians are struggling to produce enough grain to feed the city. While Rome has enough grain stores for the present, Sicilia running dry will certainly lead to unrest in the city, even as the province itself starves as every last bushel is sent onwards to Italy.
Agendas:
Optimates:
- Weakening the Tribunate
- Strengthening Senatorial power
- Eliminating the grain dole
- Preventing Italic citizenship
Populares:
- Land reform to benefit poorer urban citizens
- Debt cancellation
- Preserving the grain dole
- Preserving the Tribunate
NOTE: All posts in the Curia should instead be made in the Curia-Hostilia channel on the discord.
