Oakenshield Castle, House Hewett

While the crown of chivalry slumbers, the Oakenshield sits as its stalwart defender.  The stone piers of Lord Hewett's Town jut out into the waters of the Sunset Sea like so many grasping hands, reaching for the bounty that flows from the mouth of the Mander.  From the harbour the town proper expands up the slight rise of Oakenshield proper, ending at the sharp granite cliffs atop which sits the throne of House Hewett.  This keep of stone and timber and hallowed flesh has long stood the test of time.  Though once laid low, the finery of its venerable triumphs have been restored, and there sits in the air a heavy sense of determination.  The shield cannot fall.
