The Sundering of the Black Lion The death of Foltest brought the end of what was truly Temeria, a kingdom that had endured for centuries since its founding by Dezmod. The Black Lion of Temeria was once a crowning jewel of the Northern Kingdoms, holding sovereignty over Brugge, Sodden, and Mahakam at its height. With civil war, during the ending years of Foltest, and the lack of a trueborn heir, the Kingdom fell into ruin and was splintered by varying ambitions, both from within and without. Temeria's future may fall to one of the many whose force of will can ensure its freedom or its submission. Post-Foltest's DeathA fight over the throne between the powerful nobility, the able Interrex, and the Nilfgaardian invaders from the South. Only one can truly succeed. Significant characters would include: - Vernon Roche, Commander of the Blue Stripes - Jan Natalis, Interrex of Temeria - Aryan La Valette, Baron La Valette - Havart var Moehoen, Field Marshal of the Nilfgaardian Army and 'Governor' of Temeria\ - Possibly more to be discussed/removed Alt-history: Post-Emhyr's DeathWith the death of the Imperator who oversaw the greatest of conquests and wars for Nilfgaard, the nation is shaken and Temeria stands at the brink of falling one way or another. Local lords, bandit leaders, remnants of Temerian nobility, and ambitious Nilfgaardians vie for total dominance over Temeria. ^This second setting may involve less historical characters and more made up ones.

Shadow over Cyrodiil Cyrodiil has long been the center of ambitious nations. Saint Alessia, Reman Cyrodiil, Tiber Septim, and, most recently, Titus Mede. It's rich lands have served as the bedrock for a number of strong nations that have ruled many sections of the continent, including its whole, such as when Tiber Septim rose to power and conquered Tamriel as its first continental emperor since Reman I. Yet, as with any history, nations that rise must inevitably fall. But, they are not fallen forever, for they can rise again, under new leaders, new commanders, and new warlords. Fourth Era: Stormcrown InterregnumWith the death of Octano, the Third Empire has lost the last vestige of capable and unified leadership. The countryside of Cyrodiil falls into armed chaos as the Stormcrown Interregnum begins. Commanders of legions, nobility of Cyrodiil, even charismatic individuals will lead the battle for the Ruby Throne and the successorship of Tiber Septim's empire. And by their success will the next era of history begin! Significant characters would include, if so desired: - Titus Mede, a Colovian warlord Fourth Era: Death of Titus Mede IIThe murder of the man who steeled the Fourth Empire against the resurgent Mer of the Dominion met his end by the blade of an assassin and the contract of an unknown person. It was believed, by this individual, that for things to move forward, the Emperor must die. And by his death did the Empire become break apart once more. As the civil war rages in Skyrim, and strife batters High Rock, the children of Titus Mede II, their Imperial relatives, and ambitious persons seek to claim the Ruby Throne. They are driven by many desires such as ensuring the stability of the nation, to extract revenge upon the Dominion, or simply to become the Emperor so that they may rule as they see fit. ^This second setting will likely involve more made up characters and less historical ones. Some considerations could be Vittoria Vici, a first cousin of Titus II and her husband, Asgeir Snow-Shod, to that extent as well as General Tullius. Alternative Fourth Era SettingsThese would include... - The Houses of Morrowind after the Red Year - Likely set after the Great War - The Kingdom of Wayrest (or any part of High Rock) - this would be set after the Corsair Invasion during the reign of King Barynia. The event involves a massive attack by sea that tears the long-enduring city of Wayrest and sends the kingdom into turmoil. As a result, Wayrest has fallen under the control of corsairs and the fate of the King is unknown. - The Civil War of Skyrim (or perhaps an alternative ending) - my suggestion is that Skyrim asserts independence and Ulfric becomes High King, but is assassinated and a new High King must be elected. Otherwise, we can have an Imperial-aligned High King or play out the reign of Ulfric Stormcloak.
