This picturesque castle on the banks of the Cockleswhent is the home of the Green Apple Fossoways, merely a few days ride from the former home of their kinsmen in Cider Hall. Unlike Cider Hall, however, New Barrel remains in Fossoway hands, the lesser line proving more stout and formidable than their wealthier cousins.
