Harmund nodded his thanks to Tywin's compliment.
"I am prepared to go to the Iron Bank seeking a loan to rebuild King's Landing. With the Treasury your late father left us, your Grace, we can fund the rebuilding of much of the Red Keep and city walls, but it would leave precious little to fund the rebuilding of the city itself. For that sum I shall negotiate with the Iron Bank. The offer of a foreign quarter with privileges may prove tantalising, Braavos has many merchant ventures that would be keen to establish a foothold in the Seven Kingdoms."
