"I have called for the banners yes."Doran shakes his head. "I would prefer to stay out of this conflict in truth. If we could get Elia home to Dorne I would move to fortify the Boneway and leave the North to its fight. As is though I am afraid we will have to move north soon."
He pauses again as he rises and walks over to the Window. "The question is what we should do when we move North. Do we strike at the Stag, or do we move towards the capital with the goal of securing the Keep and Elia. Defeating the rebels will not remove the danger the King poses nor will it address Rheagar's transgressions even if brings peace for now." Said Oberyn with a hint of anger. "Sitting this out until it is done is hardly a good idea, something we might come to regret, greatly" Doran sighs at this brothers words. They were correct of course. No matter how much he disliked the situation. "We will march towards North towards the capital bypassing the Stormlords keeps. If the battles in the north go poorly we can at least be in position to defend Elia."Doran looks to Oberyn already weary with the events of the day. "The Reachman will probably spend their time parading around the Stormlands I see no point in wasting our strength taking marcher keeps while the fighting is in the North. Dornish spears need to be close enough to the capital to keep it from falling should the need arise."There was still one more matter. Rheagar and the King's maddness. "Once this is done we will address Rheagar's transgressions."

Ulrick ponders for a moment on the matter of their advance. It seemed it was best to get North to the capital as soon as possible.
If I might suggest, my Prince.
His hand gestures to the Red Viper.
It would be prudent to get our forces there as soon as possible. Why not give your brother a strong contingent of cavalry to move through the Reach and advance along the Roseroad for the capital. A speedy advance that would be absolutely necessary. The infantry will take longer after all, best not make the Princess Elia wait in the clutches of the Mad King for too long.

Sending the cavalry ahead was risky, but it would allow for Dornish forces to reach the front faster. Perhaps it was the way to go, but he didn't quite like the idea of sending just the cavalry ahead. "A small force moving to reinforce the capital while the bulk of the army comes up behind may be for the best, but sending just the cavalry would leave our foot without any support if something goes wrong."He turns towards his brother. "How many men would you need to move quickly to the capital?"

Doran begins as Oberyn enters the room. "He claims he's married Lyanna Stark." Doran turns to Oberyn. "The whole time our men were bleeding to put him on the throne he was planning to take a second queen. This outrage cannot be allowed to stand." Doran sighs taking a breath and sitting gesturing for Oberyn to follow suit. "We will need to tip the scales in the High Septon's election and ensure the faith strongly denounces this marriage."

He added.
"The Faith should not tolerate this. A sympathetic High Septon must be elected and convinced to hold his ground against the Crown, no matter the pressure"

"Rheagar acts like he's Aegon ruling the realm from dragon back instead of a man that burned his capital to the ground." Doran says disgusted. "The man forgets the reason he even has a throne. Perhaps it would have been better if he fell on the Trident."
Doran sighs drumming his fingers against the table. "Hightower has influence over the faith. I intend to go speak with them and Lord Tyrell he was unhappy with Rheagar's council. However I have a request of you. Go to Dragonstone and take command of Elia's personal guard. Keep an eye on what is going on in the capital and protect our sister. We can not allow Aegon to be replaced by Rheagar's new bastard."
