Members may throw out ideas and use this thread to garner support for either small (one-thread) or large (forum) scale ideas. We ask that discussion be limited to the ideas present and not be derailed in any sort of capacity.
Once a thread has enough support (5+ members), a thread will be made for a more in depth discussion.

So, two ideas, I suppose:
A ‘player created’ fantasy world, in which we play a company of adventurers, mercenaries, and the like.
A fantasy adventure set in Middle Earth, Tamriel, or another fictional universe, with a multitude of ideas for each. Both more like a dungeons and dragons narrative style adventure than our previous games.

I’d prefer a forum scale game, not middle earth or GoT

Hello there,
I always said Witcher universe would favour a DnD approach, more limited compared to our previous world-wide games. But a LotR adventure party could be suitable too, I guess.
And glad to see we got another and decent forum for our many errands.

So this is my suggestion to all. Its both a large and small scale settings put together, centered in our LOTR fandom.
The ideas are (including both large and small scale settings): - Forming a new North-Kingdom as the Dunedain and having a company of them going about on their own adventure (Third Age) - Numenorean Colony along the coasts of Middle-Earth. Group of adventurers seeking to explore this 'new' world. (Second Age) - Dwarves reclaiming an old hall or founding a new one and a group of them adventure across the various peaks (Second, Third, and Fourth Age) - Elvish group claims an old settlement or founds a new one while a group of them traverse the land as adventurers (First and Second Age) - Edain group, arriving in Beleriand or, after its sinking, heading to Middle-Earth. Can be good or evil influenced. Seeking a new home somewhere. Small scale could be group of adventuring Edain that want to see the world beyond (First and Second Age)
These include alt-history ideas, but I decided to present them nonetheless considering our success with them when we look at the recent MKFAH setting and some previous GoT settings. For the company ideas, I would want any and all interest to rp whoever works with them! The large scale ideas, I wanna try to limit a lot of the mechanics and make it more writer oriented and focused. I have presented ideas of eliminating rolls in battles and making it more of a cooperative writing effort on both sides, where each side is reasonable in terms casualties and who is likely the victor.
Thoughts and suggestions involving my proposal?

Tbh I like all of those ideas, so it just depends what other people want to play the most.

I would be interested in role playing mkfah, unfortunately I’m not a fan of middle earth (love Tolkien, don’t love the game )

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I'm down to play almost anything, but I will be indefinitely unavailable from April 3 onward, so if you guys are gonna get a game up in that timeframe it shouldn't be one that relies on me for anything. And by 'indefinitely', I mean until I'm bored with Resident Evil 3

And by 'indefinitely', I mean until I'm bored with Resident Evil 3 Indefinitely? Why? I implied as much in the second half of my first post, but I'll be playing the remake of Resident Evil 3 when it comes out. As a huge RE fan and with 3 having a special place in my heart as the second game in the franchise I played, I'll be playing the hell out of it, pretty much until I've squeezed out every last drop of fun I can get out of it (and it looks like it'll have a lot of fun to wring out, lol). This state of affairs isn't too different from last year, when I vanished for a while to play the RE2 remake.

Can be good or evil influenced. Seeking a new home somewhere. Small scale could be group of adventuring Edain that want to see the world beyond (First and Second Age) Coming off of this idea, Gandy and I are liking the ideas of this being set in the Second Age as: - A group of elves (Noldor, Sindarin, Nandor with Silvan or any combination of those four) that migrate East after the sinking of Beleriand and forming a new realm somewhere in the East (kind of liking the region of Gondor) - A group of Dwarves (Broadbeams and Firebeards), survivors of Nogrod and Belegost, that fled and seek to establish a new home in the main mountain ranges to the East. Plenty of opportunity outside of the Misty Mountains which is inhabited by the Longbeards of Durin's Folk. Although, doesn't mean we can't go there. Still a little partial to the formation of a new Kingdom of the Dunedain in Eriador after the fall of Angmar.
